Expresando planes e intenciones: Be going to
Estructura afirmativa y negativa
Para formar oraciones con be going to, necesitamos tres elementos clave: el verbo be conjugado (am, is, are), la partícula going to y el verbo principal en infinitivo.
- Afirmativa: Sujeto + be (am/is/are) + going to + verbo.
- I am going to study English tonight. (Voy a estudiar inglés esta noche).
- Negativa: Sujeto + be + not + going to + verbo.
- They are not (aren't) going to play football.
- Estructura: Be + sujeto + going to + verbo?
- Are you going to visit your grandmother?
- What are you going to wear for the party?
- Yes, I am / No, I'm not.
- Yes, he is / No, he isn't.
Uso para planes personales
Usamos be going to cuando existe una decisión previa. Si ayer decidiste que vas a comprar un libro, hoy dices: "I am going to buy a book".
